This is Urrbrae House, wich is where Peter Wait, his children and his wife , Matilda Wait, lived. I went there today and you go into the past into
1982 and only do stuff they did back then it's so fun! Our class got split up into 3 groups, one to be the servants, one to be the guests, and one to be the children at school. I was one of the guests. The ladys would have to start eating food before the men could start eating. Our servants who were getting trained made us cucumber sandwiches and some lemon drink and after that we ate a peice of sponge cake with cream and jam inside. It was delicous. Urrbrae house was alot of fun and we did way more stuff than just that but it was the best ecxursion I'v ever had and I think the rest of the class thinks that to.
This is the book that i am reading at the moment. It's called Measly Middle Ages and it's in a seiries called Horrible Histories.

I have many Horrible History books such as Ireland, England Vicous Vikings, etc.
I'v read all of them except this one, Vile Victorians and one called Horrible Chrismas.

cooking time-wontons

chicken wontons

1kg chicken mince
3 spring onions, chopped coarsely
4cm piece fresh ginger (20g), grated
1 clove garlic, quartered
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh vietnamese mint
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thai basil
40 wonton wrappers
1 egg, beaten lightly

instructions

Blend or process chicken, onion, ginger, garlic and juice until mixture forms a paste.
Stir in mint and basil.
Place 1 heaped teaspoon of chicken filling in centre of each wonton wrapper. Brush edges with egg; pinch edges together to seal.
Place wontons, in batches, in single layer in steamer. Cook, covered, over wok or large saucepan of simmering water about 10 minutes or until wontons are cooked through.
Serve wontons with sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce or just by themselves.

cooking weeks

Every week im going to put a recipe on my blog. It will be all different tipes of food such as sweet things, savory things, finger foods and salads. There will be very yummy things that I like and I hope that you will like it to. This months one will be comeing out very soon.
One of my hobbies is skipping because it is a fun thing to do. You can do so many things with a piece of rope, you can cross you can twirl you can evan do it so fast that you get a knot in the rope! And if you realy want to you can jump in to a big rope while its moving. I love to jump rope and it is realy good for me because I can do it with my friends. When you do it with your friends you can do lots more fun stuff like Around the world double dutch or evan just skip with one rope and two people. So that is why skipping is one of my hobbies.
