cooking time-wontons

chicken wontons

1kg chicken mince
3 spring onions, chopped coarsely
4cm piece fresh ginger (20g), grated
1 clove garlic, quartered
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh vietnamese mint
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thai basil
40 wonton wrappers
1 egg, beaten lightly

instructions

Blend or process chicken, onion, ginger, garlic and juice until mixture forms a paste.
Stir in mint and basil.
Place 1 heaped teaspoon of chicken filling in centre of each wonton wrapper. Brush edges with egg; pinch edges together to seal.
Place wontons, in batches, in single layer in steamer. Cook, covered, over wok or large saucepan of simmering water about 10 minutes or until wontons are cooked through.
Serve wontons with sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce or just by themselves.

cooking weeks

Every week im going to put a recipe on my blog. It will be all different tipes of food such as sweet things, savory things, finger foods and salads. There will be very yummy things that I like and I hope that you will like it to. This months one will be comeing out very soon.

One of my hobbies is skipping because it is a fun thing to do. You can do so many things with a piece of rope, you can cross you can twirl you can evan do it so fast that you get a knot in the rope! And if you realy want to you can jump in to a big rope while its moving. I love to jump rope and it is realy good for me because I can do it with my friends. When you do it with your friends you can do lots more fun stuff like Around the world double dutch or evan just skip with one rope and two people. So that is why skipping is one of my hobbies.

Rose

This a picture of my pet cat, Rose. She is six years old and loves tuna and hot chicken. She sleeps most of the day and most of the night to.
But she still manages to wake people up very early in the morning.
Rose is a tabby she has black and grey stripes with white socks on her feet. She seems very sweet at first but one you do something she dosnt like she is not very sweet at all. Rose used to live with us but we had to move to a house that didnt allow pets so we gave her to my grandpa and uncle Bevan. Rose dose not like other cats very much but is able to keep safe by scratching the other cats.
